Founded in 1912 by Dr. Alexander J Chandler, this blossoming community is located in the Southeast Metropolitan Valley, about 30 minutes Southeast of Phoenix. Chandler is a fun and fresh city. Over the years, it has grown to become a cutting-edge and diverse city. And, it is only continuing to grow and evolve into a city of innovation — specifically, in the computer technology sector. There are several venues and restaurants offering live music and performances year-round, including the Chandler Center for the Arts — which attracts legendary musicians like Buddy Guy, and famed comedians like Weird Al Yankovich. There you will find Nordstrom Rack, Restoration Hardware, and more. And of course, if you want to support your local businesses, downtown Chandler is your best bet. Swing by d’Vine Gourmet for specialty foods, or Merchant Square for a wide selection of antiques and vintage goods.
